ABOUT
Jenni-Mae is the Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner at Chrysalis, and she provides Behaviour support in multiple settings, including centre-based, home, school, and community. She also delivers training and supervision to staff and families. Jenni-Mae is adept in Functional Assessments, writing individualised behaviour support plans, risk assessments, training, goal planning and behaviour support. With over 20 years in the industry, Jenni-Mae holds a Bachelor of Arts with major studies in Post-Modern Studies and sub-major in Gender Studies, Advanced Certificate in Community Welfare and Certificate III Children’s Services. In 2022, she is hoping to be accepted into the Monash University Master of Applied Behaviour Analysis. Her biggest passion is to assist people with varying abilities and their service providers and families to identify their behaviour support needs through person-centred, strengths-based, respectful, and holistic approaches. The most rewarding part for Jenni-Mae is developing meaningful goals and practical strategies that will help form positive changes, strengthen relationships, and ensure that they are living their best lives.
In Jenni-Mae’s spare time, she likes to spend time with family, paint, visit the beach and watch movies. She can never turn down a good roast lamb with mint sauce!
