meet Amelia

Hi, my name is Amelia Ward I have a physical disability called Cerebral Palsy. I live in my own place in Coffs Harbour which I rent from Mission Australia with support from United Disability Care.

I enjoy surfing, tenpin bowling and spending time with family and friends. I’ve participated in a wide range of work experience roles including a housing project with Coffs Harbour Future development unit.

I have also edited and coordinated a newsletter for the Coffs Harbour Neighbourhood Centre. I enjoy travelling to different countries and I was lucky enough to travel to Europe in 2003 with my mum and Aunty. My most favourite travel moment was when mum said "we are going to find someone to eat" in French in Noumea. I have recently suffered my own depression episode.
