ABOUT

Haley is an experienced Intake and Engagement Coordinator at The Chrysalis Group based in Newcastle. She has worked in the disability industry for almost two years and holds a Certificate IV in Mental Health, Statement of Attainment in Medical Administration skills, and certified in Engaging in Positive Behaviour Support Practices from Monash University.

Haley’s role is to work through new intakes that come through The Chrysalis Group. She meets with participants, supports and family members to discuss what services are required. Haley then meets with the practitioners to discuss what services have been requested and what services are able to be delivered within the allocated hours of the participant’s NDIS plan. For Haley, the most rewarding part about her job is getting to know her participants and what support they require. She finds it exciting to collaborate with the practitioners about the supports and the individual needs of their participants and remaining updated with their progress.

Growing up, Haley completed a lot of sports, including swimming, water polo, touch football, gymnastics, dancing, and little athletics – all of which she started at the age of two! Outside of work, Haley enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as enjoying her favourite Asian and Mexican foods!
